Techno-centric studies are a necessary component of any examination of modern issues. Studies like those mentioned here have addressed this: ‘High Speed Data Collection in Wireless Sensor Network,’ ‘An Improved Face Recognition Approach using Principal Component Analysis,’ ‘Ethical Hacking and Its Countermeasures’ and ‘Parametric Analysis of Surface Roughness Studies in Turning Using Artificial Neural Network.’

With the rising focus on climate change and the environment, it is important that the discourse surrounding these subjects is given representation. The same is accomplished through studies such as ‘Appropriate Vapour Compression Refrigeration Technologies for Sustainable Development,’ ‘Study of Designing a Solar Concentrator for Crematorium using Solar Energy’ and ‘Emission Analyses of Cottenseed Biodiesel by Taguchi Method.’

Other niches are explored through studies such as ‘A Field Study on Construction Workers Stress in Erode District,’ ‘Geological Set Up and Mode of Occurrence of Stromatolitic Phosphorites of Gandhra, Panchmahals, Gujarat, India’ and ‘Finite Element Analysis and Fatigue Life Estimation of Plate with Different Stress Levels.’

Last but not least, an interesting contribution to this issue are studies focussing on health & medicine such as ‘Establishing Context Awareness for a Mathematical Expression Recognizer’ and ‘The Role of Hindi in English Language Teaching in India.’
